Membership

Bald Peak Colony Club offers several membership options.

All memberships entitle the member, spouse and unmarried children through age 24 to the privileges of their membership category.  Additional details of each category are available from the General Manager or the Membership Chair.  To apply for membership, you must be sponsored by a current member.  Please see full application procedures below.  If you have any additional questions, please contact Alexia Steyn.

  • Membership Categories
    • Regular Membership

Regular Membership is ideal for people who plan to use the club for sports and social activities on a frequent basis throughout the entire season. Regular Members have full privileges to use all sporting, recreational and Clubhouse facilities. Regular Members pay a dues fee that covers all sports for the entire season, and are not liable for daily charges for the use of athletic facilities, except for golf cart and guest charges. Regular Members have full voting rights, pay a dining minimum and are also responsible for an annual capital fee.

      Tennis Membership

Tennis Membership offers full use of all facilities, other than golf, throughout the entire season. Tennis members do not pay daily court fees, but are responsible for daily charges for guests. Tennis Members may play golf four times per season, no more than once per month, as the guest of a Regular or Senior Member. Tennis Members may sponsor guests for all activities except golf. Tennis Members pay a dining minimum as well as a small annual capital fee. Tennis members do not have the right to vote at club meetings.

      Seasonal Membership

Seasonal Membership is available for non-resident members who stay in the clubhouse, rent or stay in the home of a Regular or Senior Member for a finite period and use the sports facilities on a limited basis. Seasonal Members cannot own, rent or be a guest at a property within 50 miles of the club except in the home of a current Regular or Senior Member. Seasonal Members are entitled to use all club facilities when staying overnight in the clubhouse or in a local residence of a Regular or Senior Member. Seasonal Members pay an annual dues fee and daily usage fees for sports as well as any daily guest fee charges. However, during the shoulder season, defined as May, June and after Labor Day, green fees and court fees are included in the room rate for Seasonal Members staying in the clubhouse. Seasonal Members pay a dining minimum as well as a small annual capital fee. Seasonal Members do not have the right to vote at club meetings.

      House Membership

House Membership is for candidates who plan to use the Club on a social basis throughout the season. House Members are entitled to use the Clubhouse facilities and the beach. House Members pay a dues fee and daily usage fees for sports as well as any daily guest fee charges. House Members may play two weekday rounds each of golf and tennis prior to July 1st and two weekday rounds each of golf and tennis after Labor Day. In July and August they may play one round as the guest of a Regular Member. House Members pay a dining minimum as well as a small annual capital fee. House Members do not have the right to vote at club meetings.

A House member may add unlimited and unrestricted golf privileges during the shoulder seasons (defined as being prior to July 1st and after Labor Day) for an additional annual membership fee and paying the appropriate greens fee in effect at the time for each round of golf. The addition of “shoulder season golf privileges” to the House Membership is limited to a maximum period of two (2) years.
